WHAT LIZ IS USED FOR:

Liz is a combined oral contraceptive consisting of 28 tablets. It contains two hormones: drospirenone (a progestogen) and ethinylestradiol (an oestrogen), which work together to prevent pregnancy. Because the active tablets contain the same dose of hormones, Liz is considered a monophasic low-dose contraceptive.

• Each pack includes 24 active tablets and 4 inactive tablets.
• The tablets should be taken once daily, ideally at the same time each day, without interruption.

Liz is not suitable for use during pregnancy and should be stopped if pregnancy occurs. It may reduce milk production, so alternative methods are recommended while breastfeeding.

Side effects may include headache, mood changes, breast pain, weight changes, allergic reactions, and rare hearing issues.
