It contains levonorgestrel 1.5 mg, a progestin that works best when taken as soon as possible, ideally within 72 hours (3 days). While it may still provide some effect up to 120 hours, its effectiveness decreases with time.

Escapelle helps prevent pregnancy by delaying ovulation (prevents egg release) and thickening cervical mucus to slow sperm movement. It does not affect an existing pregnancy and is not an abortion pill. Escapelle is not for regular contraception and does not protect against STIs.

How to Consume

1. Take one tablet as soon as possible after unprotected sex.

2. The sooner you take it, the more effective it is.

3. Do not take more than one tablet at the same time unless a pharmacist or doctor advises otherwise.

4. If vomiting occurs within 2–3 hours, speak with a pharmacist, a repeat dose may be needed.
