Description
During pregnancy, regular 2D ultrasounds track fetal growth, while a 3D/4D scan at 28–32 weeks offers detailed images of the baby’s features and movements. A Full Blood Count (FBC) checks for anemia or infection, and a Urine FEME screens for urinary or kidney issues. The Modified Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (MOGTT), done between 24–28 weeks, detects gestational diabetes. Vaccinations like DTaP (Boostrix) and the Influenza vaccine are given to protect both mother and baby from serious infections.
